Power of Gold is a mini-expansion consisting of new assignment cards that give new options for gaining and spending gold. It consists of two new assignment cards:
dr Hugo Mercier, who allows players to avoid getting new population cards by spending gold.
Lady Margaret Hunt, who gives players gold when they tear down a building.
