In Tiefe Taschen the players are corrupt politicians with the intent to take as much money from the treasury as possible.
One player becomes president. His job is to distribute money to himself and to his fellow politicians. After extensive negotiations the players have to decide if they accept this distribution or not. If so, the current president stays in charge and a new round begins.If not, the current president has to resign immediately and quits this round. The next president gets to distribute the money between the remaining players and himself. This is going on until a distribution is finally accepted by the majority of players or until there is only one player left. Then a new round starts and all players are in again.
