Since time immemorial, the mines of Runedar have supplied several generations of dwarves with gold. Today, only a handful of them remain guarding the fortress that surrounds the entrance to the old mine, already exhausted ... or so it was believed. This group of dwarves has had the fortune to accidentally find a new vein of the purest gold and have managed to extract a small treasure. Unfortunately, just as they were ready to set out to bring him to safety in the nearest stronghold, they found that the old fortress of Runedar is surrounded by orcs willing to go to any length to seize the precious metal. In addition to defending the fortress, the dwarves must dig a tunnel under the mountain that allows them to escape and save the gold that they have worked so hard to obtain.
The Siege of Runedar is a cooperative game for 1 to 4 players. Players will step into the shoes of the dwarves tasked with defending the walls of Runedar and the treasure they hold. They will have to face orcs, goblins and trolls, fighting hand to hand against those who manage to avoid the walls and shooting from a distance those who intend to enter. Through a deck-building system, they will be able to improve the weapons and tools at their disposal, since they must keep the attackers at bay for the time necessary to build a tunnel through which to escape the terrible siege they have been subjected to and put them to safety. the treasure.
