Cat Days is a short fun game for 2+ players. If you want to play with more than 2 players, you need several copies of the game. It is the second in a series of card games, with more to follow, each with various rule changes and additions. The cards themselves have most of the rules on them. They say when you can play on top of another card – the normal rule is you have to play on an empty day of the week.
Your board means only your own days of the week. Any board means yours or an opponents’ board. If the deck runs out, just shuffle the discard pile and keep playing.If cards are being hoarded and there are less than 3 cards to shuffle here, everyone must immediately discard to a hand of 5, shuffle the discards and continue.
With the cardboard box, how does this work?
You play the cardboard box on any empty day on your board and take any cat from any opponent, including on their cat tree. It does not have to be the top cat of the tree. Place the lured cat on any empty day or on your cat tree day if there is room.
How does the feral cat work?
It must be placed on an empty day but can be on any board. All cats in adjacent space, including on a cat tree, are scared away, but the cat tree remains in place. The Feral Cat stays in place.
What is the point of Catnip?
If you have cats on your cat tree, playing this card can redistribute them to fill more days and may give you a surprise win. When redistributing, no placement rules apply.
Can Cat Toys swap any cat on the same day?
Yes, including any of those on a cat tree or under the Grumpy Cat.
